The days are getting longer and the weather warmer, which means summer is just around the corner. With so many fun outdoor activities to choose from, it can be hard to decide which ones to include your furry best friend in. We’ve rounded up five ways to keep your dog happy, engaged and active all summer long.

Pack an Outdoor Dog Tent to give your pet a secure space that offers shade from the sun and protection from the elements. If you have your own tent, your dog should too.
Don’t forget to bring a Trailblazing Coat. Warmer temperatures bring more bugs, and this lightweight coat helps shield your dog from insects and dirt while keeping them visible with reflective piping during low light hours.

Bring along an Explorer Pack to store treats, a water bottle and poop bags with ease. Its design helps you stay hands free and trail ready!
Tuck a Landscape Series Travel Bowl into the pack to keep your pup hydrated. If you’re feeling the heat, your dog definitely is too. Take regular water breaks to stay cool and energized.

Encourage your pup through each task with praise and treats. A Deluxe Training Pouch makes rewards easy to access while keeping your hands free.

Keep your picnic fun by having toys like the Go-Go Astro Ball for your pup to toss and chew around – and don’t be worried if your pup is a super chewer because there’s a second hidden ball within for double the fun!
Don’t forget to bring an outdoor bed like the Scout and About Outdoor Bed or Outdoor Chill Pad, so they can lounge in comfort beside you, but don’t be surprised if you end up lying on it too – It is just that cozy!

Fill either with your dog’s favorite peanut butter or yogurt-based snacks. For an extra cool-down, freeze the stuffed toy before giving it to your pup. It turns treat time into a fun and refreshing activity, while being easy to clean and dishwasher safe!
